{"id":66,"date":"2013-06-14T20:15:03","date_gmt":"2013-06-14T20:15:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/valeriechang.net\/blog\/?p=66"},"modified":"2013-06-18T22:02:37","modified_gmt":"2013-06-18T22:02:37","slug":"zagreb-bryon","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/valeriechang.net\/blog\/?p=66","title":{"rendered":"Zagreb (Bryon)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It was another travel day as we moved from the beautiful <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Plitvice_Lakes_National_Park\">Plitvice Lakes National Park<\/a>\u00a0in Croatia\u00a0to <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Lake_Bled\">Lake Bled<\/a> in Slovenia. We woke up early to leave Plitvice on the 6:45 bus to <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Zagreb\">Zagreb<\/a>, the capital of Croatia. With a few hours before our train departed, we dropped off our luggage at the train station and wandered around Zagreb for a while. Unlike the tourist destinations of Plitvice, Split, and Dubrovnik, the crowded city of Zagreb seemed to be mostly devoid of tourists. Not really knowing what to do, we stopped\u00a0by the Tourist Information (TI) to pick up a map and suggested walking tour of the city. After arriving, we didn&#8217;t have much time to admire the city before boarding a bus to Lake Bled.
